Stuart Flynn – Lymphoma Survivor
I live in Australia. I worked in advertising as a graphic designer. My hobbies – music production and playing keyboards. I ate well, worked out regularly, didn’t smoke or drink heavily. Until recently I’d only ever stayed in a hospital for one day to get my tonsils out. My worst ailments had been a sore back and slight hearing loss from my days playing in a band, but 9 years ago that was all about to change. 2 stem cell transplants, 3 years of chemo, a coma, a marriage, a baby, a movie star and national TV appearances changed my life forever.

My wife and I were featured on this National Australian TV show in 2010. This segment addresses the difficulties in finding a stem cell donor, how easy it is to register with the bone marrow registry and also how easy it is to donate. It includes great animations and footage demonstrating the process involved.
